Originally developed as an evidence-based therapy to support people with life-limiting illnesses, this process is now also being used for people at any stage of life to enhance meaning and purpose in their own lives and to share stories, accomplishments, memories, and life lessons with those they love.

What kind of questions will I need to answer?
There won’t be any questions that you must answer and there are no right or wrong answers. This is your Life Legacy Memoir and the final product we create will belong to you. You can feel free to talk only the things you want to talk about. If I ask you any question you would rather not answer, just say so and we will move on.
What kinds of questions will you ask?
The interview questions cover topics such as what you would like your loved ones to know about you, or specific words or thoughts you would like to share. Before your interview, you'll have the opportunity to review the question outline so you can give it some thought. This will also give you a chance to think about any additional questions or topics you would like to talk about. Some people might prefer to reflect on their personal life histories; others may want to leave letters for their children or future generations. To prepare, think of your preferences and your intended audience.
What if I don’t know what to say or how to continue?
As your facilitator, my job is to help you feel comfortable in telling your story and expressing whatever you want to say. If you need some guidance and direction in order to complete your Life Legacy Memoir, I'm here to help. Rest assured that you'll also have the opportunity to add or change anything you'd like before the process is complete.
